AGA Installation FAQs
A quick reference guide
Hopefully you'll find answers to many of the common questions we're asked about the slightly more technical aspect of installing a new or reconditioned AGA Cooker.
Please bear in mind that each installation is an individual and many factors affect the requirements for the AGA. We are more than happy to come and carry out a home survey to advise on which AGA is best for you, and what's needed to install it. We then prepare a detailed quotation and specification for your AGA. Once you place an order we also give you a specification for your contractors to work to.
See the list to the right for more detailed information.
In addition we're always here if you need to call in (or phone us) for advice.
Timing - When to install your AGA?
Normally the best time to install the AGA is just before the kitchen units are fitted.
This is usually after any building and plastering work has been done and after the floor has been laid (we need a level floor to sit the AGA on - the floor should extend under the cooker too).
