The oven is switchable - you choose whether it's on or off however it is a fixed temperature (about 110-120C) when on.
Power Requirement
All that's required is one 13amp socket to the side of the cooker (NOT BEHIND IT!) - there is one cable exiting the back of the cooker (1.2m long), with plug-top to go to the socket which must be no more than 1m from its right side or 0.6m from its left side.
